What's Beneath the Surface?

Most of us are carrying more than we let on. After the crucifixion, the disciples weren’t bold; they were hiding. Trying to process what just happened. Trying to make sense of the loss. Then Jesus shows up in the middle of it. Not after they figured things out. Not after they got their faith back. Right in the middle. That’s what the resurrection reminds us—God meets us in real life, not cleaned-up versions of it. And the places we’ve closed off? Those are often the exact places He wants to step into.
